At the time of this writing it's about 26 hours to go (a 7:30 a.m. start) before the gun fires and thousands of runners take off through the streets of Knoxville. Several people have asked me how I am doing- the closer it gets- the more I "freak out". The thought of completing 13.1 miles, the fear that my knee (or feet) might act up and cause me to go slower than I plan or even worse- not finish. However, I am going to have Philippians 4:13 in the back of my head this whole race- I can do ALL things through HIM who gives me strength... Next time I write- it will all be in the past and I will have a sharing report instead :)

Isaiah 40:31 is so appropriate! Running is such a beautiful act of worship, and we can always draw strength from Him!! Have Fun!
Not sure if you will get this before you leave or not, but I will be praying for eagle's wings for you. Enjoy the journey. Remember this is a long-distance run not a sprint. Live the adventure. You need DeGarmo & Key's Long Distance Runner on your player. :) And always remember how much I love you-finish in record time or not.
FJ- It is- I am going to have that on my mind as I run. I wasn't going to run with my headphones but decided that for this one I need to!
Dad- I did get it. I will leave about 6 so just eating a little something and resting for a few. Might have to go see if it's on itunes. I know you do- love you much!
Hope today went well! I can't wait to hear about it!
It did Emily- I will be sharing soon :)
